We’re
seeking an experienced and motivated Data Engineer to join our founding team.
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the technical
backbone of our organization while delivering value to our clients. You will
work closely with data scientists, analysts, and clients to design, build, and
optimize scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources.
- Write efficient, maintainable, and reusable Python and SQL code to process and analyze data.
- Build integrations to pull data from APIs into structured systems.
- Leverage AWS services, notably S3 and Glue, to build scalable data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and security across all processes.
Must Have
- 2-5 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, with the ability to write optimized, production-grade code.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, especially S3 and Glue.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and ability to integrate data from external systems. Highly creative and autonomous
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT frameworks and best practices.
Nice to have
- Experience with other AWS services such as Lambda, Redshift, or Athena.
- Background in consulting or client-facing roles.
